I use Textline to communicate with customers and within the company. I find texting allows me to reach customers who may not answer a call, letting me send questions or information directly in a format they can read and reply to on their schedule. Textline is easy to use from my desktop and cellphone and enables me to share conversations with colleagues. It's great that customers can easily send photos, which is much simpler than email. The ability to text from a desktop instead of just a cellphone is a game changer for me, making it easier to share and move photos and documents to a job folder. The Textline app also keeps me in touch when I'm away. Although I struggled a little very early on, the setup has proven to be easy since then. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I could be mistaken, but when I reply on Textline using the app on my cellphone, it appears the sent-from number shares my cell number. It would be nice if we could keep that private more easily. It could sometimes be useful to be able to verify a timestamp for when a text has been viewed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
